Plus 1 is designed to be a fun accountability tool between friends. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, mental health support, or financial guidance.

Before you participate, consider whether:

• Your target weight is appropriate for your height, age, and health. Consult a GP if unsure.
• The financial commitment fits your circumstances. Don't stake money you can't afford to lose.
• Your relationship with food, exercise, and body image is healthy enough to engage with a weight loss contest. If you have any history of disordered eating, this app is not suitable for you.
