Terms of Service

1. What this is.

Plus 1 is a private closed-group weight loss contest application operated by Yume Global Pty Ltd (ABN 72 666 677 550). Participation is by invitation only.

2. Contest entry fee.

By entering a fortnightly contest, you agree to pay a fixed entry fee in Australian Dollars via Apple Pay. This fee is non-refundable. The fee becomes part of the contest prize pool.

3. Outcomes are verified by biometric data.

Contest outcomes are determined exclusively by weight readings from HealthKit-paired smart scales. Manual entries and non-smart-scale sources are excluded. You agree that the smart-scale reading is the binding outcome regardless of any other measurement.

4. Prize distribution.

At the close of each fortnight, the platform calculates winners and losers based on each participant's weight relative to their personal target. Losers' stakes are split evenly among winners. Prizes are distributed via Stripe Connect Express to winners' personal bank accounts within standard Stripe payout timelines (typically T+2 business days).

5. This is not gambling.

Plus 1 is a skill-based contest with no element of chance. Outcomes are determined by participants' own actions (their weight loss) verified by objective biometric data. Participants are not wagering against each other; they are entering a contest operated by the platform.

6. Age and jurisdiction.

Participants must be 18 or older. The service is available only to residents of Australia and the United Kingdom.

7. Apple is not involved.

Apple is not a sponsor of this contest and has no involvement in its operation. (Required disclosure per App Store Guideline 5.3.2.)

8. No warranties.

Plus 1 is provided as-is. We make no warranties about weight loss outcomes, health benefits, or financial results.

9. Limitation of liability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yume Global Pty Ltd's total liability to any participant is limited to the entry fees that participant has paid in the preceding twelve months.

10. Changes to terms.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in-app at least 14 days before taking effect.
